A viewer redeems a channel point, and Gif It grabs the last few seconds of your stream from your OBS replay buffer, turns it into a GIF, and posts it straight to your Discord — with an optional MP4 saved to your PC. All local, nothing hosted.

How it works

Gif It reads your OBS replay buffer, the clean program feed, so clips look far better than a Twitch clip and there is no broadcast delay. Everything runs on your PC; only the finished clip leaves, straight to your Discord webhook.

    Turn on the OBS Replay Buffer

    OBS Settings → Output → Replay Buffer. Set it to ~30 seconds and start it each stream (StreamFusion can auto-start it for you).

    Make a channel-point reward

    Create a reward like Gif It in your Twitch dashboard. A short global cooldown keeps it from being spammed.

    Point it at Discord

    Paste a Discord channel webhook and choose how many seconds to grab. Optionally have it also save an MP4 to your PC.

    Redeem it live

    When a viewer redeems, the clip renders and lands in your Discord within seconds, with a copy saved locally too.

What you need

  • OBS running with the Replay Buffer enabled (that is where the clip comes from).
  • A Discord webhook for the channel you want clips posted to.
  • Either StreamFusion (ffmpeg bundled) or Streamer.bot (a one-click ffmpeg fetcher is included).
